I love Movies, entertaining movies! made by thorough professionals. However every now and then we see crap and rubbish being produced and released by some silly movie makers.
Bollywood!! its a great industry and some of the movies are made well indeed, entertaining, fun, some even carry meaningful messages and all that without hurting anybody's sentiments... these are great movies to watch.
And then we hear about 'Dam Maro Dam' I do not know what the hell they hope to achieve with this movie! and who is getting entertained - its the 'cheapest' movie bollywood ever made LOL ... well the women of this country certainly do not appreciate such slurs and insults I am certain of that! not only did the director of the movie make the female lead of the film run down other women -he goes ahead and justifies it publicly (the audacity to tell the people of Goa how they should feel and not feel about his movie)- what a ridiculous read that was! how pathetic for publicity 'cheap' publicity) .... this coming from an industry that is filled with some 'champions' 'pelwans'lol at being 'cheap' cheaper than the ones we see anywhere else around this country or anywhere in the world. 'cheap' originates in Bollywood for goodness sakes - wake up and smell the coffee bollywood wannabes! everyone knows how cheap many people in Bollywood are. The real respectable professionals of Bollywood know what we are talking about....
Goans should just laugh at the ignorance of whoever has made this movie, its utter ignorance of the film makers who knows nothing about Goa and its people and crudely claims to know the people of this magnificient cultured beautiful (formally a portuguese colony) untill the Indian army 'liberated' (according to me it was invaded ....(but thats another topic for another blog)
All these people coming to Goa have betrayed our hospitality. Indians generally ( with a few exceptions for sure ) are the crudest people in the world and the whole world knows this. They are loud, they embody bad manners, are crude in their behavior .. they burp, sneeze, scratch their private parts, dig their noses, dig their ears, defacate in public areas, eat paanpoti and tobacco, burp and burp , eat with their mouth open, make disgusting noises whiles eating in restaurants talk loudly on their cell phones in public (giving away their utter disgusting behaviors .... the list is endless - annoying loud mouths have the gall to call the women of this higly literate state 'cheap'???!! This is Goa for heaven's sake! and what the hell do you know about her people?????????Nothing you ignorants!
The only cheap women in Goa are the ones who have come to Goa from MUMBAI, Delhi, Karnataka, Bihar, and God knows which other God forsaken place in India and abroad - they all have found Goa to exploit and use and destroy to their whims and fancies... THE ONLY CHEAP THING WE DO IS THAT WE HAVE STILL NOT KICK THE EXPLOITERS OUT OF OUR LAND the prostitutes, the bar dancers,drug peddlars, so called beauticians, and 'educated escorts' etc (all from Mumbai and other parts India and abroad ....Goans do NOTHING concrete to stop this systematic murder of our land ! Goa is being taken away from us and we just sit around doing nothing - I suggest this: If the politician you voted for has not protected your part of the area from outsiders then make sure you do not give him/her your vote again do so decidedly and fearlessly stand up for what is right and condemn the wrong doers ... any politician who is responsible for letting Goa become this cheap dirty ruin that it is getting to be ...should not be given your vote - dont we have a responsibility toward our mother land? - Isnt this the place we were born?! lets protect it please,.... as much as we can from all these greedy 'cheap' women and men who are entering Goa and betraying our hospitality. Let us NOT allow Goa to be destroyed so completely in the name of tourism and other destructive so called industries (MINING)... all these destroyers are the only things that 'cheapen' GOA! Now we hear that Bollywood has just joined in with the exploiters of this beautiful land - Goa ! God's very own home!
Never has a place anywhere in the world been so deliberately destroyed and exploited by outsiders while the locals look helplessly on. Every single outsider claims to be a Goan (Goanese!! lol) they dont even know how to pronounce 'Goan' .... each and every one who comes here as a tourist eventually buys a piece of land and makes this his/her home ...including many bollywood people. This bollywood bullshit does not impress the real Goans - so please leave us alone! This has to be banned - this over populated country with over a billion people want to 'hang out' in Goa! how can that be allowed?? !! this is what is called 'Mass Invasions'! They are prepared to leave their own land just to be in Goa !!! how pathetic is that! and they do not leave ... And ones they settle in Goa they cross our line - They have no respect for the Local people or their sentiments and so I wonder why the hell they are here. Drugs, sex and booze is sought by these outsiders and so they know all about it... the cheap women they refer to in their silly movie 'dam maro daam' or some such silly name lol are their very own. No ORIGINAL Goan girl will give these paan eating 'bhaiyas' even a minute of her time.
The 'cheapest' thing around is also that bollywood is betraying our hospitality in the guise of film making and iffi (ANOTHER avenue..) and the politicians are hand and glove for every single mess taking place in Goa. Have a look at the 5star hotels - there is a hotel in the city ( Miramar) built right on the banks of the river Mandovi ..that is what a 'cheap' betrayal is ....all you rogues who have destroyed GOA and have the Gall to call its people 'cheap' GET THE HELL OUT OF GOA.
I suggest all the pure Goan people (people who were born in this beautiful state)(not yesterday -that does not make you Goan lol) unite to save Goa from all this mess carrying on here - save Goa from the meaningless bollywood masala movies too .. if these bollywood films have anything deragotory in their film script about Goa and its people they have to be banned from filming here in Goa. Ignore this movie dear people - there is nothing to write back home about it - its laughable! a waste of your money - a cheap meaningless movie more like a 'Dam Maro BULLSHIT.

ReplyDeleteIt is very sad that Bollywood has resorted to such despicable means to promote a movie by glorifying the abuse of drugs, sex and parties allegedly running unchecked in a paradise I call Goa. I can relate to your sentiments, Wanda, and I hope everyone in Goa and the rest of India will not only boycott this movie, but also take strong measures to stop this constant exploitation of the most beautiful and hospitable state in India.

The entire message of the film has a stench of out right in justice ,portraying our beautiful Goa as "sin-city". Well HATRED IS A STRONG WORD so I kind of want to suggest that people from rest of the country who actually (SADLY THEY DO!) take movies as a source of reliable info on Goa are nothing but asinine...Ireally really really DONT LIKE YOU!!

Really!Completely appalled that a seasoned film maker like Rohan Sippy and producer Ramesh Sippy had to stoop so low! Further more Its Abishek Bachchan singing the hit track ( ..who came up with the gr8 'lyrics?REALLY!!) "Oonche se ooncha banda..potty pe baitaa naanga " And then we have Big B Senior Himself applauding his son 'achievements' on twitter.I find this ludicrous and insulting.
The official press release issued a week ago by the Sippys stating that the offensives lines had been edited is one fat lie! just saw it... I just got in from the cinema, saw promo again! Bipasha Basu still mouths dialogue "Goa main sharab sasti hai and ladkiya usse bhi sasti " (In Goa the alcohol is cheap, The Women here are even cheaper) -- That is out of context, vis-a vis GOAN women btw. They might be talking about harlots from BOLLYWOOD..
As sad as it is, we the people Goa who welcomed all the world with open arms find that our tolerance results in their perversions being thrust upon us....unless we wake up we are mere spectators in the saga------we will watch our Goa go! Goa is steadily being ruined - the representatives we elected in the Government should have cared about Goa - they ruined every thing - they have chewed her dry - the damage is irreparable.. Its over. Its one huge infested mess now.... and its too late - we cant turn back the clock but we can do something to protect what is left of our mother land. Please realize people ...Goa is dying suffocating with every junkie, prostitute, drug peddlar, builder, land shark, mining rabid pig, and cheap sick headed B grade movie makers exploiting her... we can curb this if we stand up for what is right and demand a stop to this mass invasion... Bollywood will do anything to publicize their movies... everyone knows their desperation to score at the box office (or whtever filmy language they use to measure the success of their movie) so this is just another of their publicity ploy to get attention - its called desperation - The actress who has run down the Goan women - had to do this to survive and save her dwindling career - age is such a huge factor in Bollywood and the younger the wannabes are the better ( acting ability is of the least importance LOL... since this actress is too old now and she had to oblige to get noticed poor desperate woman - I dont think any self respecting woman can say this about other women and feel ok with it -if she has done this ...clearly it shows how desperate she is ( abit ...c eyed)... hahaha ... and what did Abhishek do?!! did he have to say that? I feel sorry he had to I used to think he was intelligent different and would avoid cheap tactics for attention or to get noticed .... anyway its funny coz everyone in the coastal belt of Goa know what he does on his holidays in Goa lol... ( in fact most of these bollywood masalawalas have very colorful hols here I am told) this is what restaurant owners in Baga /calangute/anjuna/arpora etc have proof on... such hypocrates indeed! we can actually burst their balloon if we keep a watch... we are working on that .... ignorant hypocrates living double lives.
